Drapery Reveal

Create a 3D product reveal animation

Turn an existing product model into a presentation moment built around one clear transition from covered to visible.

A completed cloth reveal made with the Drapery Reveal browser workflow.

Building a product reveal for marketing

A product reveal animation introduces an object through controlled visual timing. Drapery Reveal uses simulated cloth for that transition, then leaves the model framed in the scene for the final product view.

A focused browser workflow

The workflow starts from an existing model rather than a video timeline. Choose a view that communicates the product, make the cloth clear its key features, and record a duration suited to the final placement.

  • Open a supported 3D model and let Drapery Reveal center it in the scene.
  • Adjust the cloth, pull direction, surface, camera, lighting, and presentation.
  • Record the reveal and download an MP4 on supported current browsers.

What you can control

Camera, lighting, surface, shadows, cloth styling, and share layouts make it possible to develop a consistent presentation without claiming the scope of a complete production editor.

  • Cloth size, quality, color, texture, pull direction, height, distance, and speed
  • Camera orbit, pan, zoom, surface visibility, lighting direction, and shadows
  • One-, two-, three-, five-, or ten-second recordings and common social aspect ratios

Where it fits

This is useful for a launch opener, design-review moment, campaign concept, portfolio thumbnail, store creative, pitch presentation, or short social post.

Practical limits

The tool does not add marketing claims, labels, voiceover, music, or a multi-shot edit. Add those elements later in a dedicated video editor if the campaign needs them.

  • GLB is the safest choice when a model depends on embedded materials and textures.
  • MP4 export depends on current-browser recording support; results should be checked before publishing.
  • Drapery Reveal is a focused reveal tool, not a general keyframe, audio, or character-animation suite.

Questions, answered

Frequently asked questions

Do I need Blender?

No. Drapery Reveal runs in a current WebGL-capable browser and is designed around a focused cloth-reveal workflow.

Does my source model get uploaded?

During normal use, the source 3D model is read and processed in your browser. Rendered recordings and thumbnails may be stored when you use account recording features.

Is MP4 export guaranteed in every browser?

No. MP4 output is available on supported current browsers, and browser recording capabilities can vary.
