Drapery Reveal

Create a cloth reveal without Blender

Skip the general 3D setup when the job is specifically to cover an existing model, pull the cloth away, and record the result.

No installation · Source model normally stays in your browser · No subscription

A completed cloth reveal made with the Drapery Reveal browser workflow.

A focused alternative to Blender

A no-Blender cloth-reveal workflow removes the need to set up a scene, cloth modifier, collision objects, animation timeline, render settings, and codec pipeline inside a broad desktop suite.

A focused browser workflow

Drapery Reveal packages those reveal-specific decisions into direct controls. Open the model, drape the cloth, preview its pull, frame and light the result, and record within the same browser page.

  • Open a supported 3D model and let Drapery Reveal center it in the scene.
  • Adjust the cloth, pull direction, surface, camera, lighting, and presentation.
  • Record the reveal and download an MP4 on supported current browsers.

What you can control

The narrow interface is an advantage when the required output is one reveal shot. It reduces setup decisions while keeping the cloth, camera, lighting, surface, and appearance adjustable.

  • Cloth size, quality, color, texture, pull direction, height, distance, and speed
  • Camera orbit, pan, zoom, surface visibility, lighting direction, and shadows
  • One-, two-, three-, five-, or ten-second recordings and common social aspect ratios

Where it fits

Choose it for rapid concepts, presentation assets, portfolio reveals, short launch material, or a first pass that needs to be reviewed before a larger production investment.

Practical limits

Choose Blender or another full suite when you need geometry editing, UV work, custom simulation forces, precise keyframes, multiple shots, advanced materials, compositing, audio, or a managed offline render pipeline.

  • GLB is the safest choice when a model depends on embedded materials and textures.
  • MP4 export depends on current-browser recording support; results should be checked before publishing.
  • Drapery Reveal is a focused reveal tool, not a general keyframe, audio, or character-animation suite.

The example gallery shows the scope accurately: short, scene-based cloth reveals rather than general animation projects.

Questions, answered

Frequently asked questions

Do I need Blender?

No. Drapery Reveal runs in a current WebGL-capable browser and is designed around a focused cloth-reveal workflow.

Does my source model get uploaded?

During normal use, the source 3D model is read and processed in your browser. Rendered recordings and thumbnails may be stored when you use account recording features.

Is MP4 export guaranteed in every browser?

No. MP4 output is available on supported current browsers, and browser recording capabilities can vary.
