Peter Gibbons created Drapery Reveal after needing an appealing way to unveil a 3D class-project model. The usual path required learning a broad animation tool for a single effect, so he began building a more direct workflow.

About Drapery Reveal
A focused browser tool created to make one presentation task—the cloth-covered 3D model reveal—more approachable.
No installation · Source model normally stays in your browser · No subscription
Why it exists
What the product focuses on
Drapery Reveal opens a supported model in the browser, simulates a cloth cover and pull, provides scene controls, and records the result. The narrow scope is intentional: it is designed for quick iteration on a reveal rather than general modeling or animation.
How source models are handled
During normal use, source 3D models are read and processed locally in the browser. Account recording features may store rendered videos, thumbnails, and related metadata, but normal source-model operation does not require uploading the original model.
Built for honest, useful output
The site documents supported formats, browser-dependent export behavior, pricing, and limitations so creators can decide whether the workflow fits before committing to a recording.
Try the real workflow
Give your 3D model an entrance.
Open the editor, test the reveal, and decide what to record after you see the simulation.
