Drapery Reveal

Create a reveal from a GLB model

GLB is the recommended Drapery Reveal format because geometry, materials, and textures can travel together in one browser-friendly file.

No installation · Source model normally stays in your browser · No subscription

A completed cloth reveal made with the Drapery Reveal browser workflow.

Why GLB is the recommended starting point

A single-file package avoids the most common missing-resource problem found in GLTF folders, OBJ/MTL pairs, and externally textured FBX files.

Check the asset before recording

Open the GLB and inspect its orientation, silhouette, materials, and embedded textures. The editor normalizes the model for the scene, so compare visual proportions rather than expecting source units to remain unchanged.

Build the reveal

Frame the model, apply the cloth, choose a pull that clears important features, and refine lighting and the surface. Run several previews before starting a recorded take.

If a GLB still looks wrong

A GLB can still contain unsupported or unusual material features. Re-export with broadly compatible PBR materials, embed required textures, reduce unnecessary complexity, and test the new file in the target browser.

Questions, answered

Frequently asked questions

Does every GLB work?

No format can guarantee every asset. Very complex geometry, unusual material extensions, or device limitations can still affect the result.

Are source units preserved?

No. Drapery Reveal normalizes the longest model dimension for its presentation scene.
